I'm a Kansas City photographer, wife & a mother of two. I enjoy all the small things in life including a chocolate chip cookie! My house hold is in love with BRUNCH because well what is life without laughter on a Sunday morning? When I am not photographing all around Kansas City, you can catch me at the movies or engaging in a serious nerf war with my son. I'm kinda up for anything and I love, LOVE!
Photography has been something that has always meant a little more to me than most. It brings me back to my childhood. My father was a lover of film and he was always going places, taking pictures of us. Those pictures are something I treasure with my whole heart. He passed away when I was a child so in a way photography keeps him close to me. What is important in this life is our families. Capturing moments and being apart of that for others is just magical. I'm a lover of people, it's what I do! Including in Kansas City!

When my clients meet me for the first time they typically can't stop laughing. I'm not saying I'm funny but I do know how to make you either blush, laugh or just open up. My bubbly, enthusiastic, charming personality is why not only do my clients love me but why they keep coming back to be apart of the #susyphotofamily
I started my photography journey over a decade ago. Understand my clients needs is something that truly is important to me I not only have experience in just photography. I have real personal life experiences that have shaped me into the person I am and because of this, I have a heart and passion to serve others in a big way.

Let me introduce you to my world beyond the viewfinder. My family is my anchor, my inspiration, and my greatest supporters. At the center of it all are my two amazing kids, Arya and Dylan.
Dylan, the older of the two, is a perpetual source of laughter and light. He has a heart as big as the sky and an infectious enthusiasm for life. He also has a smile that lights the entire room. I can't get And let's not forget his penchant for hugs; he's a true momma's boy in the best possible way. I truly can't get enough of hugs from this kid!
On the other hand, Arya, our youngest, is a whirlwind of energy and talent. She's not just a dancer; she's a dancer with a competitive spirit that shines both on and off the stage. When she's not pirouetting or practicing, you'll find her exploring the world of fashion or unleashing her contagious giggles that have the power to brighten anyone's day.
And, of course, I can't forget to mention my incredible husband, Scott. He's not just my partner in life; he's my partner in every sense of the word. We share a love for family gatherings, game nights filled with friendly competition, traveling to new places, and indulging in leisurely brunches where we soak up quality time together.
As if our human family members weren't enough, we also share our home with three furry friends: Canon, Flash, and Micro. Yes, you read that right—they're all named after camera equipment! These adorable cats add an extra layer of charm and warmth to our lives, and they're often found playfully snoozing on my laptop as I edit my sessions.
My journey as a photographer is deeply intertwined with my love for family. A good belly laugh, and the joy of preserving precious moments. Whether I'm capturing the unbridled joy of a wedding day, the tender moments of a family portrait session, or the creative beauty of a boudoir shoot, my photography is driven by the love and laughter that fills my own life.
