As the year comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect. Kansas City Newborn Photography: Wrapping Up 2024 and all the blessings it’s brought.. It’s been an incredible year filled with new beginnings, growing families. Not to mention the countless precious memories captured through my lens. Let’s take a look back at the highlights of this year and a peek into the exciting plans for 2025.
2024: A Year of Blessings and Growth
This year has been nothing short of amazing, thanks to the wonderful clients who have trusted me. Firstly you all trusted in me to document some of their most cherished moments. From sleepy newborn poses wrapped in soft blankets to playful family lifestyle sessions. Which resulted with each session has been a joy and an honor.
One of the highlights of 2024 has been seeing familiar faces return to the studio. Watching families grow over the years is one of my biggest joys. without a doubt capturing new siblings, and celebrating milestones is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. Above all it’s a privilege to be a part of these families’ stories and to see the love they share.
This year also brought creative challenges and opportunities. The twin cake smash sessions, for example, were a fun and adorable way to celebrate a big milestone. Every session reminded me why I love what I do and inspired me to keep improving and growing as a photographer.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we welcome the new year, I’m excited about the possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead. Here are some of the goals and plans I’m working toward for 2025:
-Welcoming New Clients
First off I’m eager to meet new families and capture their unique stories. Whether it’s the first precious days of a newborn’s life or a family lifestyle session celebrating the beauty of everyday moments, I look forward to creating images that will be treasured for years to come.
-Celebrating Returning Clients
There’s nothing more heartwarming than seeing clients return year after year. Watching families grow and evolve is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work, and I hope to continue building these lasting relationships in 2025.
-Possible Studio Move
With growth comes change, and I’m exploring the possibility of moving to a new studio space in 2025. A fresh, updated space would allow me to provide an even better experience for my clients, with more room for creativity and comfort.
-Focusing on Family Lifestyle Sessions
While I love the beauty of studio newborn photography, I also want to expand my focus on family lifestyle sessions. These sessions capture the genuine connections and everyday moments that make each family unique. Whether it’s reading books in the nursery, snuggling on the couch, or baking cookies in the kitchen, lifestyle sessions are a wonderful way to tell your family’s story.
-Continuing to Learn and Grow
Every year brings new opportunities to learn and refine my craft. In 2025, I plan to attend workshops, invest in new equipment, and stay inspired by exploring creative trends in newborn and family photography. My goal is to ensure every client has a memorable and exceptional experience.
