Meet Baby Porter

As a newborn photographer, I have the privilege of meeting some of the sweetest families. Newborn Photographer | Meet Porter. I love capturing memories that will last a lifetime. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the newest addition to one of my favorite families – The Bretches. I first met Angie when she was a wedding coordinator. We hit it off instantly. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on several weddings, including my own! When she reached out to me to schedule a newborn session for her son, Porter, I was thrilled. I couldn’t wait to meet this little bundle of joy.

Angie and her husband Taylor welcomed Porter into the world a little early. He was healthy and happy from the moment he arrived. Just spent a little while in the NICU. When they arrived at my studio for their session, I was greeted with the sweetest smile from Porter. He was such a little snuggle bug and I knew we were going to capture some beautiful images.

One thing that stood out to me about Angie’s vision for the session was her desire for natural images. I love when parents want their images to reflect their family’s natural dynamic. It makes the images so much more meaningful and authentic. With Porter, we focused on capturing his sweet little expressions and the love between his parents and him.

Another special touch was a little blanket with doggies on it. It was clear that Angie and Taylor are not only in love with their new baby, but also with their furry friends at home. I loved incorporating the blanket into the session and creating images that truly reflect this family’s unique personality.

Overall, it was such an honor to capture these precious moments for the Bretches. Porter is a little miracle, and it was a joy to photograph him in his earliest days.
