TONY Awards

I’m in LOVE with TONY Awards Cake Smash sessions, including one’s with a theme. Yup! That was the theme for this little guy. It was such a fun set up to create and it took me awhile to create it. I think I nailed it! What do you think?

When creating this TONY Awards cake smash I started with the colors. Obviously, when you google TONY AWARDS for some inspiration you see hints of blue. I like to call it “Spicy Blue.” For absolutely no reason at all. It just feels SPICY like this set up. Which pairs well with with, black and of course GOLD!

It was important to me to make sure that the set up had a stage like feeling. This is where I decided to added some black sparkly curtains to his TONY Awards set up. I think it worked out pretty well.

Accessories…Let’s talk about them! They either MAKE or BREAK a set up. Which I do lose sleep over. (I’m aware I have a problems when it comes to the reasons why I lose sleep.) We needed STARS as of course when celebrating a FIRST BIRTHDAY you need some STARS!

“This session was inspired by Tonys milestones sessions. If I remember correctly it was his 6 months session that inspired it. This kid…Let me tell you could go from HAPPY, SMILING to POUTY face in a matter of 1.2 seconds! It cracked me up so much that I randomly blurred out the idea. Mom was in LOVE with it! So that’s where it all began!”
