Hello Ryland

Hello Ryland! Welcome to the WORLD it has been such a joy getting to know your Big Brothers over the year. Meeting you sure is special. He was so sleepy and little I just couldn’t get enough of this little guy.

Isn’t he simply just the sweetest?

Ah! I don’t think he could be any more adorable.

I first met Rylands Momma (Nicole) and Daddy (Matt) when they were planning their wedding. At that time Lane (Oldest Big Brother) was two and was just a little doll! I still can’t believe that this family is now a family of BOYS! I’d say that Momma Nicole sure knows how to make the most adorable little gentleman.

Asher (Youngest Big Brother) sure was all about his baby brother. It was the sweetest and I just can’t

wait to watch these three brothers grow together. Hello Ryland! Ryland sure is one LOVED little dude!

SWEET LITTLE DETAILS

I’d say that the best part of my job is creating moments for my clients, but really it’s simply watching them grow. How special is it to be trusted over and over to continue to capture these little milestones.

If you haven’t already had the chance to take a look at more of my newborn work…

You should. Ryland may of made the cut on the page. (Okay, YES he did)

Now let’s take a look from more of Rylands Gallery!

Hello Ryland

Thank You for sharing all your boys with me Nicole and Matt. Seriously keep them coming! <3

It’s never too early or too late to reserve your newborn session.

I’d love to be able to capture all your milestones. Can’t wait to have you apart of the #susyphotofamily

XOXO Susy

What to Wear

Choosing what to wear for your newborn family portraits can feel overwhelming, but a few simple tips can make the process easier. Start by selecting a soft, neutral color palette. Shades like cream, beige, gray, or soft pastels photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. Avoid bright colors or bold patterns, as they can be distracting and take attention away from your newborn.

Next, coordinate rather than match. Pick two to three complementary colors and build outfits around those tones. This creates a cohesive look without appearing too uniform. Keep clothing simple—classic pieces work best. Think soft knits, flowy dresses, or button-down shirts.

Consider comfort as well. Newborn sessions often involve cuddling, sitting, or lying down, so wear something you feel relaxed in. Avoid logos or text on clothing, as they don’t translate well in portraits.

Lastly, think about textures. Layers, subtle lace, or linen can add depth to your images without being overpowering. Don’t forget about dad and siblings—keep their outfits in the same palette for a harmonious look.

With thoughtful planning, your family’s wardrobe can enhance your portraits and create timeless images you’ll treasure forever.
