Who doesn’t just adore an Ice Cream Cake Smash? Lydia is ONE and super SWEET! Watching her grow this last year has been something dear to me. I’ve been apart of her Momma & Daddy’s Love story from the start. Nothing is more meaningful to me than being able to capture my couples engagement, weddings and all the life in between!
When It came to planning Lydia’s first birthday session we had many ideas on what to go with! In the end we decided to do the Ice Cream Cake Smash because Lydia is so SWEET! It just fits. Also this little gal is IN LOVE WITH ICE CREAM! So am I little one, so am I!

Let’s talk about CAKE! I love working with Cole’s Cake for Cake Smashes. Not only are they tastefully yummy but she NAILS THEM every time. She made this Smash a success! Check her out if you haven’t already.
We loved making the cake look like the top of melting ice cream! We could have just used ICE CREAM because sometimes using food instead of cake is just as adorable. I’m glad we went this way with the cake and added ice cream on top!

Words From Lydia’s Momma
I don’t have a favorite stage. As each month has passed I have loved it just as much if not more than the one before. Lydia is an extremely busy girl and quite the little explorer! Therefore, I think watching her find and learn new things has always been my absolute favorite part! & the cuddles of course.
Lydia’s party was a blast! All eyes were on her as she opened her presents tissue paper by tissue paper. & of course mom and dad were there to help when she got distracted by her new baby doll and rocking horse.
Susy has always gone above and beyond as a photographer for our family. & That certainly does not change when it comes to her set ups! From newborn to now she has made each set up very unique, which is something that I love.
