We had another breathtaking Kansas City Maternity Session this past week. Dakota and Genesis are Parents to be. They are having a little girl named Ellie. Do you know how excited I am to having a little GIRL in the studio? I can’t wait too meet little Ellie.
It has been a studio full of little boys this year, so being able to have a girl is exciting! Don’t get me wrong I love all the babies but I am ready to dig out all my new props for her.

Genesis is a lot like me when it comes to her love for all things DISNEY! Yup. Thats right you are going to have stay tuned to see what we come up with this sweet Kansas City Maternity Session.
When Genesis and I started chatting about her envision for her a Kansas City Maternity Session she was so thrilled to have the option to a client closet. I get how stressful it can be finding an outfit for pictures let alone for a maternity session. Trying to make the process easy and empowering for all you mommas to be. It shouldn’t be stressful!
– Questions for Momma to Be –
How you came up with her name?
“My family will tell you that I am HUGE Disney fan. I have always liked the name Ella (from Cinderella). However, after realizing daddy and I love the movie, Up, we decided on the name Ellie!”
How did you feel when you found out you where having a girl?
“Ever since I got pregnant I had a feeling it was a girl. Daddy thought 1000% boy. We got our test done early to find out gender and had the hospital call our best friend. At the gender reveal, I was so excited and cried! Daddy was a bit worried but only because he knew he was in trouble and would have baby girl wrapped around his finger. ”
What is the most exciting part of being a mommy do you look forward to?
“Oh my! Girls are so much fun & im definitely looking forward to matching outfits! I can’t wait to dress her up, do her hair, teach her about makeup & show her how to live life to the fullest. It’s also probably cliche, but, we cannot wait to hold her & see who she looks like! We both love kids (probably why our nieces and nephews say we are their favorites) & cannot wait to just have a family of our own!”
