Meeting these two was fate, seriously. I wasn’t even going to do the bridal show in Kansas City. Where I met them at. It wasn’t a planned show this year. I remember these two vividly all adorable in 90’s cartoon ware. I felt, “is this it? Are these my soulmates? This must be fate.” They hired me on the spot. Which being a photographer is a GREAT HONOR!

I remember learning about these two. How they met, how it almost didn’t happen. How fate took over when it was time. Sammy met Ryan during a friend’s party. These two did not live near one another so it was difficult for Ryan to ask Sammy out. Until one day a friend tried to get Sammy over for a New Years bash, but she didn’t attend as she had just gotten back from out of town. Poor Ryan wanted to ask her out, and Sammy had no clue. Soon after Ryan saw no other choice but to do it over messenger. This is where fate took a hold and as Sammy said, ” The rest was history.”

These two have humbled my heart as I have watched them plan, grow and just be them this last year. It makes what I do easier when couples have a love for 90’s and dinosaurs as much as I do! How have I been so lucky to be apart of so many wonderful couples lives? Maybe its fate. I just can’t wait for years to pass by and watch this family grow in love! <3

Photographing weddings has become more than my job, it is my whole LIFE! When I meet with my couples we become friends.

It’s so important to create a bond with you. In my 11 years of starting my journey in learning photography I have realized how much Love these moments bring to me.
