Dylan’s Easter Best as a BIG BROTHER
Dylan is my first born, he is my night and day. I honestly can’t remember a time without this sweet little boy. He is so full of warmth and joy with as much energy as 100 children. I see so much of me in him he is a self-portirate of me. Just like my father use to call me a ray of sunshine, little miss sunshine…That is my son. A ray of Sunshine on a rainy day. It make’s me sad that I once had blogged his early years and it vanished. I use to do a top 10 of Dylan each month. So I thought that I would start it again…<3
Enjoy his Easter Best while we count down…
10. “Arya has baby feet, and my feet are getting big like yours!”
9. “I’m not Dylan anymore mommy, call me Peter Pan!”
8. “I need more to drink, I’m a big boy now!”
7. “What’s that smell? Phhhheeee you!” (In regards to Arya’s diaper)
6. “I’m done in the snow, I want spring to come!”
5. This is one Dylan still say’s because he can’t wipe his butt…”MOMMY WIPE MY BUTT!”
4. Dylan is one of the best helpers…if I’m cleaning he is right beside me cleaning too! Love him.
3. Love this one, “I’m going to tell my daddy on you!” lol
2. Watching fox 4 News the day after the second blizzard when the weather guy says,”we have had reports of transformer blowing…” Dylan jumps up and says, Mom, mom, mommy….Did they say TRANSFORMER?”
1. I always tell Arya that she needs to stop growing because I don’t want to grow old…Now Dylan always say’s,” Stop growing Arya! your making my mommy OLD!”
What to Wear For an Easter Session
Easter sessions are full of light, color, and joy—so choosing the right outfit can make your photos shine even more. Soft pastels, whites, and light neutrals work beautifully with the fresh, springtime feel of Easter. Think blush pink, soft blue, mint green, or light lavender. These colors photograph well and pair perfectly with Easter-themed props like bunnies, baskets, and florals.
For babies and toddlers, a simple romper, cotton dress, or overalls always looks sweet. Add a bow, bonnet, or suspenders for a little extra charm. Keep it comfortable so your child can move, sit, and play with ease.
Siblings or parents joining in? Coordinate outfits without matching exactly. Stick to the same color family for a cohesive look. Avoid loud prints, bright logos, or anything too busy. These can distract from the simple beauty of spring.
Textures like linen, knits, or eyelet details add interest without overpowering the scene. And bare feet or classic shoes like Mary Janes or loafers complete the look without feeling too formal.
As a final tip, choose outfits that reflect your family’s style. Classic or playful—there’s no wrong way to celebrate the season. Just keep it light, fresh, and fun!
